ietf84 - open internet endownment

Last week, the IETF and ISOC did a family sof-launch of the Open Internet Endownment. I donated some 100 USD towards the IETF and open standards development, and in total some 28K+ USD was collected in the first week. Let's see how the official launch will work out at the next Atlanta IETF85 November meeting. Typically Endownments need millions in order to make money out of bank interest and help the cause.
